SUMMARY
The Book of Gates is a sacred Egyptian text that describes the passage of the soul from this world into the next. The soul must pass through the 12 Gates, each one guarded by an Egyptian God or Goddess. The 12 Gates were always considered to be a myth, until David Redlore discovers a map to the first gate. Before he can follow it he is betrayed by his friend Warren and left for dead. As David races after Warren, he finds myth becoming reality as he is face-to-face with the Gods and monsters of Egyptian mythology.
